Other Statistics – Divinity: Original Sin

This guide covers the different statistics that affect characters and game systems. Each stat has a brief explanation.

Armor Rating the amount of (non-magical) damage that your armor absorbs.
Blockingchance of blocking melee and ranged attacks.
Critical Chancechance of striking a critical hit.
Damage damage you inflict when successfully hitting an enemy or item.
Defense Ratingability to evade attacks.
Hearingrange at which you detect enemies on the mini-map.
Initiativeposition when the turn order of combat is calculated.
Maximum Action Pointsmaximum number of Action Points you can have at any one time.
Movementdistance you can run with one Action Point.
Offense Ratingability to hit an enemy.
Reputationhow people react to you.
Sighthow far you can see and how quickly you can spot enemies.
Start Action Pointsnumber of Action Points you start with in combat.
Turn Action Pointsnumber of Action Points you gain at the end of each round of combat.
Vitalityhow much damage you can take before you die.
