Orobas Fjords Primordial Cave – Divinity II: Ego Draconis

Primoridal Cave Walkthrough

This cave is the objective of one of the first main quests in Orobas Fjords. It’s accessed at #2 on the dungeon map.

After entering the cave, continue exploring it and you’ll come across an elevator (#2). Head a level below and continue forward until you find a dragon skill book and a chicken rune in the room at #3. The chicken rune is used in the side quest The Runes of Wrath.

In order to get past the door at #4, you’ll need to do the quest Reaping the Seeds. After passing the statues, be ready to dodge some fire shooting traps. Turn left to reach a small chest with a lever handle inside (#5). There’s a dragon skill book to be picked up at #6. There’s also an empty lever slot nearby which you’ll have to fill in. Pulling the lever removes the magic field that blocks the way. The corridor to the west doesn’t seem to be accessible.

Now head to the Grand Chamber (#8) and loot the two malachite veins found just a tad bit south. You’ll also find a key at #7 that opens a chest near the campfire. As you enter the grand hall, you’ll meet the Patriarch, a true Dragon. Mindread him for an additional dragon skill point. After the conversation, you’ll be attacked by Damian’s men on your way out.
