Dark Cave Walkthrough

The entrance to this cave, called bandit hideout can be reached in dragon form on the mountains at #4 on the dungeon map. Immediately upon entering the cave, you’ll come across a set of notes and a key (which doesn’t seem to open anything).

You’ll meet a group of bandits a bit to the south, at #2. Sura, their captain, drops another key. That one opens the door in the eastern part of the cave (#3).

At the end of the passage, you’ll come across some stone plates on the floor (#4). The correct order to get them all glowing is stepping on the third one, then the first one, the fourth one and finally the second one (ordered by facing the chests behind them). After all of them are sparkling, a barrier will dissipate on the other side of the cave (#5), which is the next place you should go to.

Over there at the camp, you’ll find Ragon and two warriors, who shouldn’t pose any trouble. If you mindread Ragon, additional gold bag will spawn at the end of the cave (#6). The ring you find on his corpse is needed for the quest A Hunting We Shall Go Again. There’s also a dragon skill book to be found on the nearby table.

You’ll also find three dragon statues in the same area. Two of them are located on the way to the gold bag at #6. The third one is located above on a platform. Use them all until they stop turning and a book will spawn. This book is needed for Barbatos’ quest Borrowed Book.
