Wild Willows Manor Walkthrough

Wild Willows Manor is the asylum accessed from the Crow’s Nest district. Upon entering, you’ll meet Teddy (#2) in one of the nearby cells, pleading for freedom. Most of the rooms will be locked, so just proceed to #3, where you’ll find a doctor’s note that you can examine. There’s not a lot of interesting things going on in the current room, so just head south, where you’ll meet another person locked behind the bars, Bedlam (#4).

If you mindread Bedlam, you’ll find out about a certain button on the wall in the room #6, which will be locked. You’ll find a key later, but for now grab another key and another doctor’s note from the corpse in the room #5. They key you just picked up opens the storage door (#7) near the entrance.

In there, you’ll find a key that opens the room at #6. Once inside, press the lever that Bedlam revealed in his mind and loot the large chalice found at the other shelf, Queen Ormhildr’s Cup (#8). Take the teleport if you wish; it takes you to Luxurius’ secret room where you’ll find a skill book inside the golden chest. You can return the same way, by taking the teleport from there as well.

Now head back to the entrance and you’ll be stopped by Jango, who seemingly came out of nowhere. He’s needed for the quest A Hunting We Shall Go Once More. You can either ask him to help you out with the pressure plates (#9), or you can just kill him straight away, take his key and free Teddy (#2) who can help you out just fine. After standing on the stone plates, the fake wall will rise up, leaving you to explore the remaining part of the manor.

Take a look at the troll at #10 first. If you mindread him, you’ll gain +1 in Mana Leech skill. After talking to him, you’ll start the quest Bartender, which involves bringing him an alcoholic beverage. You can buy some from the bartenders in the inn, or chances are that you already have some on yourself. After you give him a drink, he’ll tell you a story about necromancers who’ve been experimenting in the asylum.

You’ll receive another quest (after you zone in and out) called The Blighted Beaker. It’s about freeing Najaad by finding a key on the necromancer’s corpse in the room opposite of his prison (#12). You’ll also find a necromancer’s note which you should read to find out a password for the teleport at #11. Once on the other side (Chez Chanelle’s secret room), loot the place for some extra treasures.

The cup you’ve collected earlier should be put into a designated pedestal in Gula’s Archaeological Site in Mardaneus Plaza.
