The Victim’s Tattoos Walkthrough

Background

You’ll trigger this task if you examine the hanged man’s tattoos and see that they form some sort of strange, interlinking pattern (#2).

Walkthrough

Kim will use his camera to take an Instant Photo of Tattoos, and he’ll give it to you. You’ll then be able to show the photo to a few people:

• Joyce Messier (#1). She’ll only talk about the tattoos after you’ve completed the task Joyce’s Info on the Lynching, where you’ll learn that Wild Pines sent a “security detail” into Martinaise to intimidate the locals, and that the hanged man was part of it. Joyce will then inform you that the pattern shows the locations where the hanged man did his mercenary work. If you ask her who could tell you more, then she’ll mention the other members of the security detail, including the scab leader, but she’ll warn you that talking to them might be dangerous. Still, if you decide to talk to them, then you’ll trigger the task Ask “Scab Leader” about Tattoos.
• Scab Leader (#4). You can ask him about the tattoos, but he’s not a part of this task. He’s only a part of the task Ask “Scab Leader” about Tattoos.
• Klaasje (#2). You won’t be able to ask her about the hanged man’s tattoos until after you’ve completed (or skipped) the task Doorgunner Megamix. At that point, Klaasje will reveal that the tattoos are a map of the hanged man’s life, detailing his training and work as a killer for hire.

Talking to Joyce and Klaasje will complete the task and earn you 30 xp.
