Background

To trigger this task, you’ll need to talk to Garte in the Whirling-in-Rags. If you pass a Rhetoric check, then he’ll reveal that Sylvie the bartender might have quit her job because he asked her out on a date. When you call Sylvie (using the radio in Kim’s car), if you pass an Empathy check, then you’ll learn that she actually likes Garte — and that you’re the reason she left, not him. You’ll then get an option to talk to Garte for her.

Walkthrough

When you talk to Garte, you can either tell him the truth about Sylvie (and the skua), or you can make things up. Either way, you’ll earn 30 xp for completing the task.
