BioShock, BioShock 2, and Borderlands Sales Figures

Between IGN and VG247, we can glean all the information we need from Take-Two’s fiscal 1Q 2010 conference call earlier today: the original BioShock has sold over 4 million copies, BioShock 2 has “shipped” over 3 million copies, and Borderlands has sold over 2 million copies.

Take-Two announced new sales figures today during its fiscal 2010 first quarter results. The company’s first major title in 2010, BioShock 2, has shipped 3 million copies.

Take-Two also announced that the original BioShock released in 2007 has now sold over four million units, bringing total sales of the franchise to seven million units total.

Take Two’s just confirmed Borderlands has sold over two million units since its release back last October.

The company also said the Gearbox RPG shooter still (continues to sell well,) according to T2 CFO, Lainie Goldstein.

More Borderlands DLC is on its way, too:

CEO Ben Feder confirmed earlier tonight the game will see more DLC, thanks to the added success of most recent DLC, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
