Rift Maze - Beyond Divinity

This guide will walk you through the Rift Maze in Act IV of Beyond Divinity.

Area Note

Your object here is simply to exit the maze. You can use the teleporters if you want, but mostly they’ll send you to spots where you’ll find yourself surrounded by level 30+ shadow creatures, and so it’s safer to explore the maze by walking. When you’re ready to leave, use Teleporter Five (#7). It will send you back to Academy Level 3.

1 – Starting Point

This is where you’ll start in the maze. When you talk to the ghost to begin the test, he’ll open the nearby doors.

2 – Teleporter Two

The teleporters marked with the Raanaar symbol for “two” are linked.

3 – Golden Key

The golden key unlocks a chest in the storeroom (#11).

4 – Teleporter Four

The teleporters marked with the Raanaar symbol for “four” are linked.

5 – Battlefield Key

On the ground here, buried under the debris, you’ll find a (level 5) Battlefield magical key. You might need to press the alt key to see it.

6 – Teleporter One

The teleporters marked with the Raanaar symbol for “one” are linked.

7 – Teleporter Five

This is the teleporter you should use to exit the maze.

8 – Sapphire Key

The sapphire key unlocks a cupboard in Academy Level 3.

9 – Teleporter Three

The teleporters marked with the Raanaar symbol for “three” are linked.

10 – Laboratory

In the laboratory you’ll find a manuscript, a candle and some imp bodies. If you read the manuscript, you’ll learn that somebody created a green gas that was toxic to imps. That’s the closest thing to a clue you’re going to get.

To open the door to the storeroom (#11), simply light the candle. A green gas will appear and disintegrate the imp bodies, leaving skeletons behind. In the eastern skeleton (in the skull) you can find a silver key. The key unlocks the door to the storeroom.
