Area Note

You’ll arrive down here if you accept a quest from one of the merchants in the Imp Village (#11). The idea is to pull some levers (#2a to #2f) to open some doors (#1a to #1h) so you can pick up the mysterious box the imp merchant asked you to retrieve.

To get the box:

  • Send Player A through door #1a.
  • Send Player B through door #1b and have it pull lever #2a. That will open door #1d and close doors #1a and #1b.
  • Send Player A through door #1d and have it pull lever #2b. That will open doors #1b and #1c.
  • Send Player A back through door #1d.
  • Have Player B pull lever #2a again. That will open door #1a and close door #1b.
  • Send Player A back through door #1a.
  • Have Player B pull lever #2a a third time. That will close door #1a and open door #1b.
  • Send Player B through door #1b. Both players should be back at the beginning.
  • Send Player A through doors #1c and #1f, and then have it pull lever #2c. That will close door #1f but open door #1e.
  • Send Player B through doors #1c and #1e, and then have it pull lever #2d. That will open door #1g.
  • Send Player A through doors #1g and #1h. You should find the strange box (#3) beyond the door, plus a charm and the (worthless) gloves princess of fire.
  • Send Player B back through doors #1e and #1c.
  • Send Player A back through doors #1h and #1g, and then have it pull lever #2c again. That will close door #1e and open door #1f.
  • Send Player A back through doors #1f and #1c. Both players should be back at the start again, and now they can exit the basement.

1 – Doors

2 – Levers

Levers #2e and #2f don’t seem to do anything.

3 – Box

This is the box the imp merchant wants. Picking it up will cost you a point of reputation.

Exits:

A. Stairs back up to the Imp Village.

I love RPGs, MMOs, and weird little indie games. Anything that lets me build and decorate or just has a really good story. I've spent hundreds of hours in Bethesda games and even more time modding them. I also play a lot of World of Warcraft.
