Ulchalothe’s Lair – Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II

This guide will walk you through Ulchalothe’s Lair in Chapter Two of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II.

1 – Ulchalothe

Ulchalothe is a mind flayer. As such, she has a powerful stun attack that will allow her thralls to pummel you at will. When you’ve dealt with them, though, she is fairly easy to take down as mind flayers are not suited for melee combat. When you’ve beaten her, you get the Brazier of Eternal Flame.

2 – Cell

There’s a cell in the back of the room that will open when Ulchalothe is dead. It contains a chest and an exit to the surface via an escape tunnel. The escape tunnel will put you back in the second courtyard of Dragonspear Castle. Your next step will be to head back to Jherek and give him the Brazier.
