Keep of Pale Night Dungeon – Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II

This guide will walk you through the Keep of Pale Night Dungeon in Chapter Three of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II.

1 – Lever Up to Level Up

The dungeon is basically another chance to get enough xp to go up another level. There are a bunch of undead down here. The three adventurers from the original Dark Alliance are down here as well, but to save them you’ll have to find and push five levers. Four are out in the main dungeon area and one is by the door to the cell in the middle of the room. Watch out for the fire pillars as you’re running around looking for them.

2 – Rescue

When you find that last lever and open the door to the prison, you can rescue the three adventurers. When you speak to Krommlech, he’ll tell you that you can have his magic axe if you can find it in one of the sarcophagi around the room. I’m not sure if it randomly appears or not, but I found it in the sarcophagus to the southwest of the prison.

3 – Secret Room

There’s a “secret” room on the east wall, but I couldn’t find the switch to it. Thanks to Eric for finding it by following the wall to the left of the secret room to the corner. When you’ve looted it, head back the way you came in.
