Halls of the Hammer Pt. 3 – Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II

This guide will walk you through the third part of Halls of the Hammer in Chapter Two of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II.

1 – Chimera

When you enter the Third Deep, you’ll automatically start the boss fight with Chimera, a three-headed flying beast. One of its heads shoots electricity and when it takes off, you won’t be able to go melee. Shoot it with ranged weapons from a distance until it lands, then pummel it until it takes off again. Repeat until it’s dead. You take the Jade Octahedron from its bowels (thankfully it doesn’t show you do this in a cut scene) afterward.

2 – Chests

Loot the chests but be aware that one is a mimic.

3 – Exit

Exit the way you came in or use a recall potion.
