Gandam’s Hold – Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II

This guide will walk you through Gandam’s Hold in Chapter Three of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II.

1 – Boradror’s Quest

To get to Gandam’s Hold, you have to play as Borador and you have to speak to Durbem in Chapter Three to find out where it is. Your quest will be to kill a basilisk. To begin your quest, head out from the starting point until the path forks. Head north to find an alcove with a couple of chests, then head back south and find a save point around the corner at the end of the hall.

2 – Pass it Up

Go north from the save point, as the path to the south leads to a door you can’t open yet. Keep moving all the way to the next save point.

3 – Exit or Loot?

If you’re eager to get to the basilisk, go north to the next room and enter the cave. If you want to find out what was in that room to the south, head east.

4 – Keys

As you go east, eventually you’ll find a door on the right hand side. One of the hobgoblins inside has a key. It will open the door to the south, which leads to a room where you’ll find another hobgoblin that has a key. Go back to the second save point and take the south path to get to the door you previously couldn’t enter.

5 – A Little Loot

After all that backtracking, two chests and two weapon racks may not seem worth it, but hey, you chose to play as Borador, right, so I guess it is. Anyway, head all the way north to the exit from here and enter Gandam’s Mine.

I love RPGs, MMOs, and weird little indie games. Anything that lets me build and decorate or just has a really good story. I've spent hundreds of hours in Bethesda games and even more time modding them. I also play a lot of World of Warcraft.
