Firewind Cellar – Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II

This guide will walk you through the Firewind Cellar area in Chapter One of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II.

1 – Cut Scene

You get a cut scene of Lady Firewind (the one who Luvia was working for) killing the Red Queen for you. Head north after the cut scene until you are directed west.

2 – False Wall

Head to the south end of the room you enter next. There is a false wall to the west that you can open to loot a chest. Head north again afterwards.

3 – Alcoves

If you head all the way north, you enter a room with four alcoves. Take the box from the southeast alcove and push it to the northwest one. Jump over the boxes to loot two weapon racks. Backtrack and take the west path.

4 – Secret Treasure

In the next room you’ll need to get to the treasure areas by jumping on a crate in the southwest area of the room. Hit the first chest to the northeast, then scan the north wall to find a loose stone. Pulling it opens a room to the north with two chests and two weapon racks. When you are finished, head down the hallway to the south.

5 – Bolt Pillars

When you get to the end of the hall, you’ll be in a room with several pillars that shoot bolts. There is a chest in the nortwest corner. Walk around the furniture to get to it, you won’t be able to jump over for some reason. Head south again.

6 – Lever Time

You’ll reach a save point, eventually. On the other side of the wall is a lever. Pull it to open a door to the west.

7 – Dog Run

Go through the newly opened hole in the wall in the room to the west and you’ll fight a bunch of dogs as you head all the way south. Pull on a torch on the south wall and it will open a room with several weapon racks to loot. Go back to the room with the save point and head down the east hall.

8 – More Dogs

Open the door at the end of the hall and fight even more dogs. Jump up onto the boxes in the middle off the room to take out some archers and loot a chest. Head out the door to the east.

9 – Trapdoor

Use the save point on the other side of the door at the end of the hall. In the next room, Lady Firewind will greet you, then open a trap door that drops you into the Firewind Dungeons.

I love RPGs, MMOs, and weird little indie games. Anything that lets me build and decorate or just has a really good story. I've spent hundreds of hours in Bethesda games and even more time modding them. I also play a lot of World of Warcraft.
