Sewers 1 – Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance

From the extensive sewers of Baldur’s Gate you can return to the cellar, enter town, or proceed deeper into the sewer system.

Walkthrough

1 – Save Point

Dispatch the rats before saving in this room.

2 – Kobold Camp

Some kobolds are camping out in this room. I wasn’t expecting their fire to burn me when I got too close, but sure enough, it did.

3 – Cell

The lever in this room doesn’t open the cell, but does open the big circular door that leads to the next area.

4 – Fording The Stream

Walk through the water in this room to avoid the jets of steam.

5 – Box Shoving

The spear chucking kobolds in this room will test your ability to push boxes. Use one of the crates for cover or you’ll be overwhelmed. Pull the three levers to enter the room behind the circular door.

6 – Kumbayah

More kobolds are camping out here. They also have an elite bugbear with them.

7 – Jumping Jacks

If you don’t mind jumping puzzles, jump across these crates for some items in two chests. You’ll have to learn to jump up on boxes to get to the next area, anyway.

8 – Save Point

A large group of kobolds guards this save point. Before things get out of hand, splash your way to the island with the save point and take out the spear throwers.

9 – Huge Rat

Head down this corridor for some good loot. The dead kobolds lying arounnd aren’t very reassuring, but when you get to the dead end, there’s only a large rat waiting for you.

10 – Elite Bugbear Guard

There’s an elite bugbear guarding the entrance to the next area.

11 – Bugbear Chieftain

A bugbear chieftan and some kobolds are hanging out in this room. When you beat the big guy, you get the prison key off his corpse.

12 – Ethon

Ethon is in this cell. It turns out that he used to be a thief. He tells you what he heard from the thieves that imprisoned him and gives you a key so you can head deeper into the sewers.

13 – Thieves Guild

Remember this room, because you will head back here when you have the key to get into the new thieves’ guild.

14 – To Town

This stairway leads up to town.

15 – To Level Two

This stairway leads to level two of the sewers.
