Arcanum Update

The guys over at GA-RPG have posted up a development update on the upcoming Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, along with a few brand new screenshots. Here’s a snippet:

The reason that there are so many bugs to fix is because we finally hit what is known as “feature lock”. For those of you not in the know, that means that we are no longer adding any further content or features to the game. We are done. Ka-put! You can start up Arcanum, pick a character, and play all the way to the end where you…uh…wait, I can’t say anything about that right now. But I can say that its really fun, and the polish is really starting to show through…movies are in, and voices are in, and the new backgrounds and the new technological followers and the inter-disciplinary schematics and the thousand other things that were waiting in the wings before we finally just decided that now was the time. And, wouldn’t you know it, it all works. Arcanum has finally grown up. Now we just make her nice and presentable and she’ll be the belle of the ball.
