Xbox 360 Games of Spring 2010

IGN has put together another one of their quarterly video game round-ups, with this latest spring 2010 collection for the Xbox 360 featuring profiles for Alpha Protocol, Mass Effect 2: Kasumi – Stolen Memory, and Puzzle Quest 2.

What It Is: The long delayed spy-fi action-RPG from developers Obsidian and publisher SEGA is set to finally release this June. Filled with guns, gear, and dialogue trees, and an emphasis on real-time third person combat, Alpha Protocol looks to combine the high tech spy film with the mechanics of Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

Why It’s Hot: Mass Effect meets The Bourne Identity? Yes please. Obsidian’s first original title in years draws from almost a decade of working on expansions for major BioWare releases like Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights 2, and bears more than a little resemblance to BioWare’s current RPG hit (which isn’t a bad thing).
