Mass Effect Video Interview

GameSpot brings us the first details on Mass Effect in the form of a video interview with BioWare’s Casey Hudson and Greg Zeschuk at Microsoft’s X05 event. After watching the interview, I gleaned a few more details:

– Your squad will be composed of three characters that will interact with one another in addition to interacting with NPCs along the journey.

– They’re striving to make the game non-linear by allowing players to explore planets that are not related to the main quest.

– A trilogy of Mass Effect games are planned that will continue the storyline over the course of “many years.”

And…

– It’s still at least a year to a year-and-a-half away.
