DeathSpank PC Reviews

A couple of new reviews for DeathSpank have emerged since the release of the PC version, starting with an enthusiastic critique at IGN that ends with a score of 8.5/10:

If you like sweet loot, hacking things to death, looking at beautiful landscapes and laughing at good writing, you might want to pick up DeathSpank. However, although the game shines in many areas, it does have its flaws. Questing can turn into a noticeable chore, and I would have gladly substituted some of the (go fetch) missions in favor of some more brainteasers. Still, DeathSpank is a fun adventure worth exploring.

And then we stop by GameFocus for another favorable conclusion and a score of 8.9/10:

I was already a huge fan of the DeathSpank when it launched last summer but was a little lukewarm over the quick release of the follow-up, Thongs of Virtue. Again, my love for the first game still exists with the PC version, although I do wish HotHead did a bundle and released both at a discount. While that isn’t the case, I still can’t fault this version and strongly recommend it to any PC owner looking for a fun hack-and-slash adventure.
